These 'Neko Atsume' Cookies Are Almost Too Cute To Eat

Neko Atsume is a wildly addictive and very popular cell phone game wherein people collect cartoon cats by putting toys in their digital yards and hope the cats show up to play with them. People are obsessed with the game and getting the rarest cats to come visit, and now one Japanese grocery store has come up with a way for people to collect cookie versions of the cats.

According to Rocket News 24, the Lawson grocery chain just announced a limited-edition boxed set of cookies shaped like some of the Neko Atsume cats as a special gift set for summer, and it's completely adorable.

The boxed set comes with three cats, which will be recognizable to players of the game as cats named Snowball, Peaches, and Pepper. They come with chocolates shaped like watermelons and baseballs, which attract cats in the game. The whole set comes in a box for about $30, and it's sure to make any Neko Atsume addict ridiculously happy.
