Loews Sapphire Falls Resort To Open At Universal Orlando In 2016
Planned to open for the summer 2016 season, the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will be the fifth on-site resort at the Universal Orlando compound operated by Loews Hotels & Resorts. Slated to be a Caribbean-themed vacation experience, the property will be dressed in lush greenery and will surround a tropical lagoon.
The resort will also connect to Loews Royal Pacific Resort via a covered bridge and to Adventure Way from Cabana Bay Beach Resort which just opened in June of this year. With this property's 1,000 rooms, 77 of which are suites, the total number of rooms at Universal Orlando will be brought to up to 5,200.
Being built with family vacations in mind, a number of playful amenities will match the Caribbean theme. At the sandy beach children and adults of all ages can build castles and soak in the rays or parents can venture over to the children's play area and pool with water slide for a family-friendly afternoon. Finishing off the lush tropical look, the middle of the property will feature a large multi-tiered waterfall.
"Our guests repeatedly tell us that our Universal Orlando on-site hotels provide them a completely immersive vacation experience from the moment they enter our hotels and are transported to another place," said Chairman and CEO of Universal Parks & Resorts Tom Williams. "We look forward to bringing them yet another incredibly themed experience with the opening of Loews Sapphire Falls Resort."
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will also be a full service destination. Amenities are planned to include a full restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, a poolside bar and grill, valet, gym, lobby lounge and more. Staying at the resort will also earn guests Early Park Admission tickets to each of the compound's theme parks, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
