Jessica Simpson Celebrates Baby Number 2 With A Tom Sawyer-Themed Shower

This weekend, Jessica Simpson was the lady of the hour at her baby shower, held at Los Angeles' Hotel Bel-Air. Pregnant with baby number two — a boy! — Simpson was in the presence of celebrity pals CaCee Cobb, Jessica Alba, Ken Paves, Ellen Pompeo, Odette Anabelle, sister Ashlee Simpson, and others at the bash.

Keeping the baby's sex in mind, the party, created by event planner to the star Mindy Weiss, was Tom Sawyer-themed and full of  rustic charm. Attendees gathered around distressed wooden benches and antique wooden tables topped with tin pitchers and enjoyed comfort food fare while wooden boats were tied up at the pond close by.

On the menu were pigs in a blanket, mini sliders, grilled cheese, and salad with Thousand Island dressing, a craving of Simpson's. As for dessert, a three-tiered baby blue cake featuring a Tom Sawyer topper was on display.

Simpson, clad in blue, opened presents that included a child-sized royal blue antique car.
