How To Make Cookie Cutters
Looking for a cookie cutter that's not a star, heart, circle or tree? Good luck with that one. Fortunately, with an aluminum tray, a pair of scissors, a ruler and some tape, you can make cookie cutters in whatever shape your heart desires. Turkey? Batman? Stegosaurus? Oh yeah, Christmas cookies are about to get way more exciting.
Supplies:
1 aluminum tray
Scissors
Ruler
Tape
Directions:
1. Cut a strip approximately 2 inches thick from the aluminum tray.
2. Fold the top edge of the strip over the ruler. Run over the crease with the ruler. Repeat with the bottom edge.
3. Insert one end of the folded strip into the opening in the other end. If the opening is too narrow, use tape.
4. Bend aluminum into your desired shape, use it to cut rolled-out dough, bake and enjoy your badass cookies.
