Host A Fabulous New York Bridal Shower And Bachelorette Bash Slideshow
Don't fret, bridal shower games can be fun! At Alexandra's shower, we traded traditional for whimsical and played a "He Said, She Said" game.
It's All About the Décor
Setting the scene should be subtle, but effective. In keeping with the bridal blue, The Flair Exchange whipped up this gorgeous garland perfect for a summer party.
Favor Fun
Toss the notion of giving favors that guests will never use, like single flower vases. Instead, send them home with treats like these themed sugar cookies, which were shaped in hearts and wedding cakes from A White Cake.
A Little Personalization
For the beauty gal, Twistband made custom hair-ties that read "Showers of Happiness for Alexandra."
Let Them Eat Cupcakes!
Georgetown Cupcake created monogrammed treats specifically for our bride with an "A." With a variety of flavors like red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, and caramel — each was topped with ivory icing fit for the occasion. Gluten-free cupcakes are always available.
Where Are You Sitting?
Bite-sized cupcakes by New York favorite Baked by Melissa made for ideal place cards. In this case, we flagged our guest list with the mini bites as a base.
Bachelorette Bash!
Get the gals fired up with a perfect scene-setter. The Flair Exchange strung a punchy colored garland that livened up the atmosphere for a night of fun and friends.
Think Pink!
In keeping with the theme of "bachelorette," the bridesmaids mixed up cocktails with X-Rated Fusion Liqueur. The signature drink was The Mrs. Repetto (lemonade, X-rated, and a splash of seltzer).
A Slice or a Sip?
Pearl Wedding Cake Vodka made for a perfect addition for our occasion celebrating the bride-to-be. On the sweeter side, we mixed it with Diet Coke and a splash of chocolate syrup. It's name was "The Sweet Slice."
Little Black Dress
For night on the town, all the ladies were dressed in a, you guessed it, Little Black Dress. Called the "Blueberry Bride," we mixed the Blueberry Pomegranate flavor with lemonade and crushed blueberries for a refreshing sip.
Bite-Sized Bites
Canard Inc. curated a luxe menu for our evening. A starter item was fava bean crostini topped with shaved Parmesan cheese and lemon oil.
Soup Shots!
Canard Inc. also created shot glasses filled with chilled gazpacho, both mango and tomato, which lined the table for a spicy start to the evening.
Sweet, Sweet Sandwiches
What's a party without a macaron? Canard Inc. set the bar high with these vivid and decadent bites.
An Evening Delight
A little café, perhaps? Macarons in coffee, caramel, and chocolate flavors by Canard Inc.
Put a Ring on It
Magnolia Bakery topped ivory and pink cupcakes with glittered engagement rings, perfect for the occasion.
