Original Thanksgiving Centerpieces
Original Thanksgiving centerpieces are the eye candy of your holiday tabletop — so make yours extra special. The great thing about creating an original Thanksgiving centerpiece is that it can really make your tablescape your own, so don't be afraid to get into the spirit of the season.
Centerpieces don't have to be a floral arrangement. "I select artifacts my children or I have collected," says home furnishings designer Jan Barboglio. "These pieces have a richness of spirit, a softness of age, and a story."
You can take inspiration for your arrangement from things you already own. For instance, pinecones from the trees in your backyard, pretty leaves that reflect the season, or even a rustic bucket can become the basis of your original Thanksgiving centerpiece.
Below, you'll see a video with Martha Stewart and florist Michael George that's all about how to create an original Thanksgiving centerpiece using tulips and sandersonia flowers.
