Did You Know You Could Design Easter Eggs With Napkins?
Easter eggs can be a messy business to clean up, but what if you could skip the dye all together? That is where these fun napkin-design eggs come in. Take the prettiest design you find on paper goods and simply decoupage them onto your perfectly hard-boiled Easter egg!
This Easter, take your eggs one step further with these decorating techniques from the Incredible Egg. All of the designs are easy and inexpensive to create and all of the supplies can be found at a local supermarket or craft store. Depending on how long you plan to keep the egg, you may wish to either hard boil or empty out the contents of the egg prior to decorating.
STEP 1: Purchase paper napkins with colorful patterns at your local home or party store
STEP 2: Cut out the patterned designs on the napkin and set aside (HINT: If a pattern is intricately detailed, use a cuticle scissors to cut out the design)
STEP 3: Select one napkin design and attach it to the egg by dipping a paintbrush in decoupage glue (Mod Podge) and lightly brushing over the design onto the egg
STEP 4: Cover the egg in several different designs and set aside to allow the glue to dry
