The Pearl Opens Havana Beach Bar & Grill In Rosemary Beach, FL

Pearl Hotel will open Havana Beach Bar & Grill next month, according to a press release.

Executive chef Michael Guerra, who previously ran the kitchen at the Montage Deer Valley in Utah, will create a menu that combines Creole style flavors with those of Mexican fishing villages and Cuban cuisine.

The establishment will put an emphasis on local food providers by acquiring products from regional businesses such as Sexton's Seafood Market, Ocheese Creamery, and Camp Flowers Honey.

Some featured menu items include a crab corn chowder with bacon and shrimp n' grits, alongside local Floridian raw bar items like oysters and clams. Desserts will highlight southern cuisine with items such as peaches in chantilly cream and a modern twist on a classic ice box lemon Pie.

The beverage menu will reflect famed Havana resident Ernest Hemingway, with drinks that are served with liquor specific to the region, such as rum and gin.
