Feast Portland: Where The Chefs Ate

Well Feast Portland has come and gone for another year and I know we are all working on trying to reclaim our pre-Feast figures, but I was curious: where did the chefs from out of town eat while they were here?

In speaking with Paul Qui of Qui in Austin, he told me that he had been to Tasty n Alder, Ox, and Pok Pok. He then asked me where to get a good burger. Top Chef judge and Georgia restaurateur Hugh Acheson said he had eaten at Pok Pok and Le Pigeon. Sarah Simmons of City Grit in New York was excited to go to her favorite Portland, Ore. spot, Biwa.

Chris Cosentino, Aaron Franklin, Jamie Bissonnette, Jenn Louis, and Marco Canora were seen at La Taq and Podnah's Pit Barbecue. Matt McCallister of FT33 in Dallas visited Clyde Common, Tasty n Alder, Pok Pok, Ox, and Rum Club, along with taking a trip out to visit Soter Vineyards and Antica Terra for the pinot noir harvest. And finally, Jamie Bissonnette of Toro in Boston and New York and Coppa in Boston, visited Clyde Common, Lincoln, Imperial, and some Portland food carts.
