Gravity-Defying Vegan Milkshakes Now Available In NYC

For one weekend only, two of New York's most buzzed-about restaurants have come together to create a crazy, gravity-defying, vegan milkshake. By CHLOE., a super-popular fast-casual, vegan food brand, and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer, which is perhaps most famous for its insane, Instagram-perfect milkshakes, have collaborated to create an all-vegan milkshake for one weekend only.

This black, white, and pink, milk-free milkshake tastes as spectacular as it looks. Its base is made of a new Chill by CHLOE. coconut ice "cream," which is the first — rumor has it — of several dairy-free frozen creations that by CHLOE.'s president and co-founder Samantha Wasser has made in collaboration with New York's very own Alchemy Creamery. This frozen, shaken base is poured into a glass rimmed with vanilla frosted sprinkles before being topped with vegan whipped cream, a by CHLOE. Chlostess cupcake, a pink whirly lollipop, and another scattering of sprinkles for good measure.

Black Tap has collaborated with other notable New York hot spots in the past, such as Magnolia Bakery, but this is its first vegan creation. However, the aim is not to convert all its customers to veganism with this decadent dessert, but rather to open their eyes to what is possible, what is available, and how amazing plant-based food and drinks can be. This over-the-top milkshake is definitely the start of that process.
