Battle Of Celebrity 'Foodies' — Whose Books Are Best? Who's The Best Cook? And More

We now live in a world where celebrities such as Kylie Jenner want to teach us how to cook. In our millennial-focused world, the majority of us consider ourselves to be "foodies," and the world's rich and famous are desperately keen to latch themselves on to our seemingly endless obsession with everything edible. Now we find ourselves surrounded by cookbooks written by singers, food blogs written by models, and food products designed by sports stars.

Best All-Round Foodie: Aziz Ansari

For his continued dedication and commitment to all things food, this award has to go to Aziz Ansari. His homemade pasta skills, his trips to Italy to gorge on his favorite pasta dishes, and his endless feasting at his favorite New York restaurants, all look heavenly: If we could eat and cook as well as Aziz, we'd be happy.

Best Baker: Blake Lively

Blake Lively secured her position as best celebrity baker when she made the most incredible beehive birthday cake for Beyoncé's birthday. The cake itself was an incredibly fancy Meyer lemon and honey sponge, and it was decorated perfectly with bees and sugar flowers.

Best Chef Skills: Oprah Winfrey

From making Tibetan dumplings, to her pie-decorating skills, to spilling the secret for the perfect corn fritters, there's no element of cooking that Oprah hasn't mastered. She cooks like a chef by using recipes for inspiration rather than guidance, and letting her knowledge, tastes, and skills lead the way.

Best Cook: Chrissy Teigen

With her new cookbook Cravings winning spectacular reviews from the food world, Chrissy Teigen has firmly established herself as a serious player in the food world. Look at any of her social media accounts and you'll see how much she loves to cook, whether she's making Mother's Day brunch, or searing duck breasts for a date night in with husband John Legend.

Best Cookbook: Sophie Dahl

The fact that Sophie Dahl has published two cookbooks — Miss Dahl's Voluptuous Delights and Very Fond of Food — demonstrates that they sell well. Her recipes are accessible and tasty, the styling is stunning and aspirational, and flicking through the pages makes us want to get in the kitchen and host a dinner party immediately. We haven't found another celebrity cookbook that is quite so inspiring.

Best Dinner Party Host: Lauren Conrad

If we could be invited to one celebrity's house for a dinner party, we'd want that celebrity to be Lauren Conrad. Her eponymous lifestyle blog and new book Celebrate are breathtakingly beautiful: We'd like to dive right in and never leave.

Best Food Blog: Gwyneth Paltrow

We read Gwyneth Paltrow's food website Goop religiously. Every week, the new health hacks, recipes, and hosting tips have us running to the farmers market, and then into the kitchen, to try and transform our lives into the virtuous, aspirational dream that Gwyneth Paltrow portrays.

Best Meals Out: Beyoncé and Jay-Z

When not on one of her crazy diets, Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z spend a lot of time dining at their favorite restaurants. And they have impeccable restaurant taste. Their preferred spots range from low-key pizzeria Lucali's, to high-end sushi at Nobu, to brunch at Buttermilk Channel. We're glad we share the same taste as this celebrity couple.

Best Products: Bethenny Frankel

So many celebrities have launched food products in their name, from Maria Sharapova's Sugarpova candy to Heidi Klum's Fruit Flirtations gummies. One of the few celebrity food products that we actually like and use is Bethenny Frankel's Skinny Girl vodkas. Make a martini with that cucumber vodka: You'll love it.

Best Instagram Account: Haylie Duff

Flicking through actress Haylie Duff's Instagram account always makes our tummies rumble. Her images include everything from pretty party appetizers, to beautiful birthday cakes, to homemade cocktails: We really could stare at these dreamy images all day long.

Best Kitchen: Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz's kitchen strikes the perfect balance between beauty and practicality. The emerald green cabinets, brass countertops, huge oven, and ebony-stained floors come together to make the dream cooking space. Diaz says that she spends a lot of time in the kitchen, so it was important to her that it be an inviting, but useable place.

Best Wine: Francis Ford Coppola

So many celebrities have dabbled in the wine world — some with more success and taste than others. But if you want to drink a celebrity-made wine that actually tastes wonderful, then try a bottle from Francis Ford Coppola's Californian winery.

Most Charitable Foodie: Bono

There's no doubt that U2's Bono is one of the most charitable celebrities ever. One of his key charities, ONE, exists to try and put an end to extreme poverty. This singer couldn't be more generous, or be doing more to help to supply the hungry with food and drink.

Most Green-Thumbed: Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel has a garden full of edibles. Although she does admit to having a gardener to help her out, anyone who successfully grows Kabocha squash, tangerines, zucchini, lemons, and plums in her garden is a green-thumbed queen, at least as far as we're concerned.
