Two sisters were traveling when they ran into bad weather in Cape Cod and their car broke down. Looking for shelter from the storm, the pair walked up to an abandoned house and decided to wait until the morning for a tow. During the middle of the night, they were awoken by a glowing figure of a seaman by the non-working fireplace. Thinking they were dreaming the sisters went back to sleep. When they awoke, they found seaweed and salt water by the fireplace. They eventually got a tow into town and discovered the home they were sleeping in actually was owned by a man who drowned. When a stranger offered to send the seaweed to a museum for analysis, the results were bone-chilling...

The sisters later went to a dinner party where they met a museum curator who offered to test the seaweed they had found. Days later, they received a note that said that it was a rare seaweed that only grew on dead bodies.

This story tells the shuddering tale of a young girl alone in the house with a leaky faucet. The story goes that her parents bought her a dog before they left and the young girl allowed the dog to sleep next to her bed for protection. The night she was left alone, a leaky faucet caused her to wake up several times, checking the bathroom and finding the dripping faucet that would stop. Each time she returned to her bed, she'd place her hand over the side of the bed for a reassuring lick on her hand from her furry protector. After getting up several more times to find no leaky faucet, she heard the noise coming from her closet. She opened the door to a horrific scene...

Unfortunately, the owner of the hairy toe returned for it, and in its absence took the old woman instead leaving behind a dusty footprint... with a missing toe.
The Hook
When a couple heads to Lover's Lane for a little alone time, a scary broadcast comes across the radio. It warns listeners of a killer on the loose slaying victims with a hook and the young woman in the car becomes frightened and asks her boyfriend to take them home. The two fight about this until he finally gives up and drives her home, but not before hearing and awful screech as they pulled away. When the couple arrives home, they discovered a hook lodged in the passenger door.

As the Great Depression took its toll on a small town, a man who owned small shop was visited by an old woman with two empty milk bottles. She put them on the counter in exchange for two full ones. When the shop owner asked for the 10 cents it cost to refill them, she walked away. The shop owner, being a compassionate man, let it go seeing the desperation on her face. She returned the next day and the day after that. Finally the shop owner asked her if she wanted a job and she took off running with the milk bottles. The owner watched her run past the town to the graveyard where she disappeared into the ground. He ran to the stone where she vanished and heard a muffled crying under the stone. Soon the graveyard was overrun with policemen and they frantically dug up the grave. In the coffin they unearthed the woman who visited the shop, who was dead and clutching two milk bottles. Nestled next to her was something that made every person present scream bloody murder...

The Meat Grinder
This story follows a family that owns a meat packing plant in rural America. Legend has it that the owner's children were brutally killed by their uncle by being fed through a meat grinder. The owner, so stricken with grief, took his own life in the meat cooler. After being reopened many years later, workers say they still see two children running around the warehouse.
