CookOut NYC Is Launching Its Summer Series This Memorial Day Weekend

Not sure about your Memorial Day activities yet? Don't panic! CookOut NYC is launching its Summer Series this weekend (May 28-29) with its first event, Food Party on the Pier. With grilling stations, live music, plenty of beer and cider, and two days of festival fun, how could you not enjoy this holiday weekend event?

On site will be numerous BBQ (both vegetarian and meat) options with "All American" food offerings. Special features of the day include George Motz's — the author behind Hamburger America and the host of Travel Channel's Burger LandBattle of the Burgers (Saturday) and Sea2Table Fish Fry (Sunday).

There will be over 10 hard cider and craft beer options, including Sixpoint, Southern Tier, Downeast Ciders, Original Sin, and more; plus wine available for purchase. As for the BBQ, come hungry! Offered will be a line-up of All-American Food, including grilled cheese stations, American-style BBQ, vegetarian dogs and portabella burgers, biscuits, "Eddie's oysters" from Blue Island Oysters raw bar, The Prawn Shop, Jimmy's No. 43, Harry Hawk Schnack Burgers, ice cream, and more indulgent foods to eat.

Entertainment will be going strong all weekend with live music from Giant Flying Turtles, Tall Pines, and Noelle Tannen, among others, with waterfront viewing.
