The Capital Grille Launches Champagne By The Glass Special For The Holiday Season

The Capital Grille, the Darden-owned steakhouse chain that we named the best high-end steakhouse chain in America, is making the holidays a little more special for Champagne lovers by offering a few special bottles by the glass that were previously unavailable.

Through the Holiday season, the restaurant will be making available glasses of Chandon Brut Classic, Mӧet & Chandon Impérial, and Dom Pérignon available by the glass for the first time. A glass of Chandon is a steal at $8 (perfect for a pre-dinner toast), Mӧet is selling for $18 a glass, and the Dom is selling for $48 per glass (in Pennsylvania, the pricing is $11, $23, and $60, respectively).

The restaurant's ample wine list (which includes detailed descriptions of the above champagnes in a special section) has transitioned from a traditional book to an iPad, allowing guests to sort by everything from country to varietal and flavor profiles, then further refine their search by price.
