Pumpkin Spice Lattes Now Available At Starbucks

Pumpkin Spice Latte season has arrived at Starbucks. Officially, the seasonal favorite will be launched Sept. 6, but for in-the-know customers, the latte can be ordered starting today.

This marks the 13th year the coffee chain has sold the PSL as a seasonal beverage. Since 2003, it has sold around 200 million cups of the cult favorite, making it the most popular seasonal drink ever.

"It's a tradition," Mackenzie Karr, Starbucks' coffee education specialist, told Business Insider. "Similar to football around Thanksgiving, or dressing up for Halloween, it's something that people have incorporated into their lifestyles. It's become part of their seasonal routine."

Starbucks has been promoting the drink on its mobile app and through the official PSL Twitter account (yes, that's a real thing), so it's safe to say there will be plenty of the creamy, sweet, cinnamon-y drinks being made today.
