Beijing's Top Peking Duck Restaurant To Open In New York

Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant is one of the most popular and widely renowned Peking duck restaurants in Beijing, and now it's reportedly expanding to the U.S. with a huge new restaurant planned for New York.

According to the New York Post's Steve Cuozzo, the new Da Dong restaurant will occupy a 13,000-square-foot space at 3 Bryant Park in Manhattan. The lease indicates that the restaurant will have two stories and two outdoor terraces.

Da Dong is an upscale restaurant with several locations in Beijing, and it is frequently ranked as being one of the best restaurants in Beijing, and one of the very best places in the world for Peking duck. Their duck is distinct from other styles of Peking duck in that it is reportedly less fatty, but still very juicy and smoky, with nice, crisp skin.

Da Dong's New York outpost is expected to open sometime next year, but the exact dates have not yet been announced.
