Go HAM On Ham This Easter
Prepare the perfect ham. This may seem like a lofty request, but whole hams are pre-cooked, so all you have to do is add some flavoring like traditional cloves. Cook ham low and slow in a bit of liquid to prevent it from drying out, and then baste it with a simple glaze. When it's all heated you're good to go.
Easter dinner. Enjoy the ham you prepared, whether you decided on a bourbon or blackberry glaze, with classic sides like roasted asparagus or cheesy grits.
The morning after. Your holiday guests will be pleased to wake up to breakfast in bed. Use that leftover ham to make homemade biscuits with maple mayo, layered ham and cauliflower sandwiches, or ham and egg omelette cups.
Other meals. Depending on the size of ham you got (probably way more than you needed — no judgement) you'll have leftovers for days. Turn it into a sweet and savory pineapple-ham casserole.
