In recent years, there has been a proliferation of cooking courses across the country, and more people – particularly millennials – are cooking at home to entertain.

The artesian bottled water company, VOSS, is helping to trumpet this trend in haute cuisine cooking at home with their beTHEchef contest. In partnership with The Daily Meal, VOSS is sponsoring a contest that asks readers to submit their favorite international dish for a chance to win a grand prize cooking course at the legendary Culinary Institute of America.

Starting on September 15, aspiring chefs will be asked — on social media and on The Daily Meal site — to submit their favorite recipe of international cuisine to be judged on creativity, simplicity, versatility, and photo quality. The Daily Meal's food experts will pick 25 second-place winners across the country to win a class at their local cooking school. The Grand Prize winner will be flown to New York where they will participate in a cooking course at The Daily Meal Kitchen Studios, and then be hosted at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, for an intensive two-day cooking boot camp. 

Additionally, The Daily Meal editorial team will be ranking the top 25 cooking classes, as well as the top 10 best cooking schools.

The contest will run from September 15 through October 31. VOSS is allowing that budding culinary talent inside you to be discovered and rewarded.
