Christina Aguilera Sings In PSA For World Hunger
Grammy Award-winner Christina Aguilera will be using her voice in Yum! Brands' new PSA for the company's World Hunger Relief effort, which will benefit the United Nations World Food Program and other hunger relief programs.
Along with appearing in the PSA, Aguilera will also be featured in advertisements, online efforts, and posters. Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC, all Yum! chains, have made the efforts possible.
Aguilera has been a part of the Yum! Brands' World Hunger Relief Effort since 2009 — she traveled with the program to Haiti and Guatemala as the "ambassador against hunger."
"I'm excited about my new PSA for Yum! Brands' World Hunger Relief effort this fall using my voice for good to help feed millions of children who go to bed hungry every night," Aguilera said in a statement this morning. "I hope to inspire others to use their voice for good and move millions of people from hunger to hope."
The brand's annual fall hunger relief effort is the largest private sector hunger relief initiative. More than 120 countries; 38,000 Taco Bells, Pizza Huts, and KFCs; and more than 1 million employees come together to create the World Hunger Relief.
