Chili Con Carne Recipe
Chili con carne, which translates simply to chili with meat, is a spicy stew of beef, chile peppers, tomatoes, and other seasonings. Though chili is popular across the United States it's a most often associated with Texas since it's the state's official dish.
There are a number of delicious chili con carne recipes, but we like this chili recipe because it's easy to make; whether you're a skilled cook or a beginner in the kitchen, you'll use this chili recipe again and again. It requires a bit of chopping, but the other steps are simple — sauté a few vegetables in oil and combine all the ingredients in a pot. And, when everything has been combined, the chili con carne simmers away on your stove for an hour allowing it to develop rich and complex flavors that a good chili recipe is known for.
