Just for the record, I’m not grilling outdoors without my citronella candles burning, either, but this all-natural (and technically edible) bug spray always adds an extra line of defense.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoon sea salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions
- Mix everything together in a Ziploc bag and seal the bag well. Tie to a branch of a tree near your barbecue.
