Bobby's Burger Palace Hits Burlington, Massachusetts
Bobby Flay, chef and Food Network star, will add another Bobby's Burger Palace to his ever-expanding repertoire of franchises including Mesa Grill, Bar Americain, and Bobby Flay Steak. This time, he's heading to Burlington, Mass.
"We took a close look at the market," said Laurence Kretchmer, Flay's business partner, according to the Boston Herald. "We love the mix and vibrancy of both the people living there and working there."
The 72-seat restaurant, which will open in the Burlington Mall, may have been permitted as a "fast order food establishment" rather than full-service since customers order at a counter, but that doesn't mean they won't use the same quality ingredients as a fine dining restaurant would, claims Kretchner, according to the Burlington Patch.
The menu, featuring classic fast-food fare like burgers, fries, onion rings, sandwiches, salads, and milkshakes, will also include Flay's signature burger, the Crunchburger, which gives customers the option to "crunchify" their burger by having potato chips added on top.
The Burlington location is set to open in the fall, according to attorney Mark Vaughan, of Riemer/Braunstein, who represents BBP.
