Bobby Flay Is Looking For Food Entrepreneurs
Food Network is offering the chance of a lifetime for aspiring business owners looking to break into the food industry. Food television megastar Bobby Flay is currently looking to cast individuals who are in the process of opening a restaurant, bakery, or other food business for his new Food Network show.
Applicants should have little to no prior professional culinary experience, and must be planning to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant (or shop of some kind) within the upcoming year. The lucky individuals chosen to participate in the show will receive coaching from Bobby Flay in their pursuit to open a successful food business — as well as national publicity for their brand (through appearing on the show).
This is quite an interesting proposition. Flay has certainly proven his chops as a restaurateur and brand manager — he's currently the chef-owner of 15 restaurants, has hosted many cooking shows throughout his career, published 10 books, and is an Iron Chef. Let's hope the outcome of this show is more successful than that of America's Next Great Restaurant.
If you or someone you know would like to enter, email an outline of your budget, team, timeline, menu, and reasons for opening a business to foodtvshow@gmail.com. There is no deadline for submissions.
