Birthday Parties: Easy Decor Themes
Not everyone has the ability to Pinterest their way to a fabulous party. Sure, themes are great in theory, but choosing the "right" one can get a little stressful. Do you go with the ponies or the poms-poms? Well we are here to let you in on a little secret: the best birthday parties are the ones where the guest of honor has a great time. In fact, it is the only detail of a birthday that truly matters (ok, maybe the birthday cake does too). So why stress yourself out over details that won't ruin the good time? All you need to do is keep basic party color schemes and ideas in your back pocket to throw a memorable, beautiful event. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Primary Color Themed
You couldn't dream up an easier party theme for any birthday. Grabbing some simple balloons, streamers, and paper party-ware in various primary colors is the best way to tackle this party theme. These items are available at an array of locations, including the dollar store, to make this an affordable party as well.
Rainbow Color Themed
If you want to expand your party palette but keep it simple, a rainbow party would be very easy to pull off. You could theme it around actual rainbows (bright colors for kids, pastel rainbow colors for adults) or try a funky rainbow theme like tie-dye for the artistic adult or child in your life.
Vintage Decor
For the "old" or the old at heart, vintage party decor always makes for the best aesthetic backdrop. Use lace, burlap, and quirky antiques to set the scene!
