The Best White Bean Chili Recipe
Some foods were meant to have a spicy kick to them and chili is one of those foods. White bean chili is no exception. Even though there is some debate as to whether chili should include beans or not (and this recipe uses ground turkey instead of ground beef) there is no denying that this white bean turkey chili has all the flavor of a more traditional chili. With jalapeño, chili powder, cumin, and tomatoes, this white bean chili has plenty of authentic flavor.
We love this recipe because it develops a rich and complex flavor in a short amount of time thanks to the use of beer and an onion soup mix packet; after you sauté the onions, garlic, and peppers in butter, use the beer and soup mix packet to deglaze the pan and create a flavorful base for chili. Don't have ground turkey on hand? Substitute ground chicken for an easy chicken chili recipe instead.
