The Best Of Travel In 2013 (So Far) Slideshow
2013 has seen the publication of three 101 lists that have been both global and domestic in scope: 101 Best Restaurants in Europe, 101 Best Restaurants in Asia, and 101 Best Food Trucks in America for 2013.
We compile and rank these lists with the help of an expert panel who both suggest restaurants and then vote for their favorites based upon defined criteria. The running's always close, but by analyzing value and experience among other relative criteria, we come up with the best-of-the-best in a given area.
We'll let you check out the stories for the full results, but just as a tip, we suggest you seek out Paris, Beijing, and New York for some of the world's best food!

New Chef Q&A Series: Around the Kitchen in 3 Questions…
You may have already noticed, but we recently started a new question-and-answer series with some of the country's best chefs, cookbook authors, and food personalities. To learn about how their travels inspire their work, we ask each person the same three questions:
1. What has been your most inspirational food experience while traveling?
2. What's your favorite kitchen souvenir from your travels?
3. If you could eat your way through one country, which one would it be and why?
Don't miss our interview with The Lee Bros... trust me, citing Ethiopia and South Korea, their answers aren't what you might expect.
New Contributor Series: Eating On the Fly & The Foodish Boy
We've been lucky enough to welcome two new series contributors to the travel channel since the beginning of this year.
The first is Eating on the Fly, or Laurie V's weekly series about traveling and eating around the country as a food-loving airline stewardess. She hits the big hubs like New York and Atlanta, as well as smaller airports like Spokane and Raleigh-Durham during her trips, and uses her few hours in a given location to sample the best that her destination has to offer. Whether you're in a city for a short visit or a long stay, she has a knack for rounding up the best, even with a quick layover.
Our other new contributor is Alex, otherwise known as The Foodish Boy. Alex is on a mission to do the unbelievably cool task of traveling the world while working 52 different food jobs over 52 weeks. He started his journey in the U.K. less than a month ago and has so far learned about brewing beer, making fish and chips, and baking bread from some of industry's best.
Travel Photo of the Day
Every day, the travel channel posts a food photo of the day. You may have seen it, but just in case, our running slideshow features snapshots ranging from a Malian tea ceremony to cevicherias in Peru. We definitely enjoy finding our own photos to post, but we want yours, too!
