Bake Me A Pizza As Fast As You Can
Pizza, along with hot dogs, burgers, sub sandwiches, and tacos, is one of America's favorite convenience foods when in a jam. And who could resist? It's hard not to salivate at the prospect of gooey, bubbly cheese melting away together with one's favorite toppings on top of a perfect layer of sauce, ending in a golden crust with just the right amount of chew.

Sure, it's easy enough to pick up the phone and just order delivery, but what if you're in the mood for something a little different from the usual pepperoni pie, sausage supreme, or bell pepper and mushroom pizza?
That's why we've come up with our own recipes that use the best seasonal ingredients in a way that most people would probably be hard-pressed to find on speed dial. And all of these recipes take the same amount of time as delivery — roughly 30 to 45 minutes.
To pull this off, we did use a little help from the store. We used ready-made, frozen pizza dough that, when thawed overnight in the refrigerator, gave very good results and obviously cut down on cooking time. Making your own dough from scratch is great, but it's an awful lot of work for a weeknight and more suited to a relaxed weekend project. If you can't find frozen pizza dough at the store, or if you're in even more of a hurry, try looking for ready-made pizza crusts.
