Christine N. Barba is a writer, editor, and researcher, published in print and online. Recently, she served as the managing editor for Being Patient Alzheimer's, an editorially independent news site that shares the latest research on brain health and was founded by a former executive producer of The Wall Street Journal. She also worked as a copy editor for Culture Trip and has edited nearly 3,000 travel articles. Additionally, her travel and science writing has appeared on Google Travel and VICE. Previously, she was an editor for Pearson, as well as for the women's rights organization UltraViolet. She has presented her work at national and regional conferences. She's interested in well-being, global cultures, and digital storytelling. Located in New Jersey, she enjoys travel and a good cup of coffee.
Education
Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Delaware, where she double-majored in English and interpersonal communication, and graduated as the valedictorian of both majors. She minored in history and journalism. She completed her Master of Arts in English: Rhetoric and Composition at North Carolina State University, where she won her program's "Thesis Award" and worked as a college English instructor.
