8 Truly Farm- To- Table Restaurants
You may have heard of Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York's Hudson Valley, but it's not the only restaurant that is supplied by an adjacent farm. In fact, all over the country, there are chefs of upscale and casual eateries alike filling their menus with the surplus of farms that in some cases they even operate themselves, like at Oleana. Visit the farm at the right time and you may catch a chef out in the fields himself, like Chef Lee Skawinski of Cinque Terre and Vignola, harvesting produce for that night's dinner menu. All 8 of the truly farm-to-table restaurants we found are worth a trip.
