5 No-Fail Potluck Dishes
If you aren't familiar with how a potluck dinner party works, it's when the host of the party asks guests to each cook and bring a different dish to the party that will then be shared by everyone. Potlucks are a ton of fun, as you never know what you are going to get. And they're one of the easiest and least-stressful parties to host, as the host either doesn't cook at all or cooks just one dish.

Some potlucks have specific themes to them, like Italian night, for example. But for those that don't, the possibilities of what to cook can seem endless, which makes it difficult to choose the perfect dish. We suggest playing by the following rules: First, make sure your dish is easily transportable, like lasagna, which is cooked in a pan and can be transported in the very same vessel it's cooked in. Second, make sure that your dish can easily be reheated either on the stove or in the oven.
We've come up with five delicious main courses that meet the above criteria so you can impress your host and your friends. Follow our guide to five no-fail potluck dishes to take the guesswork out of what to bring to your next potluck dinner.
